Changing time makes sense it will align with nature!
Getting back to a 13-month calendar:
Design your calendar: Decide on the month names and lengths.
Implement the system: Use a calendar app or create a custom calendar with your chosen months.
Conversion: If you want to convert current dates, you'll need to map Gregorian dates to your 13-month system.
Step 2: Name the Months
You can choose traditional names, assign new names, or number them:
Option 1: Numbered Months
Month 1, Month 2, ..., Month 13
Option 2: Themed Names
For example:
Dawn
Blossom
Sunfire
Harvest
Frost
Rainfall
Growth
Light
Shadow
Ember
Zephyr
Aurora
Year-end
Option 3: Traditional or Cultural Names
Use names from a specific culture or mythology that resonate with your purpose.
Step 3: Decide on Month Lengths
Usually, each month has 28 days.
You may add a "Year Day" (or "Year End") for the remaining days outside the regular months.
Step 4: Create a Calendar Layout
Use a spreadsheet, paper, or digital tool to create a table representing months and days.
Each month will have 4 weeks of 7 days.
Step 5: Incorporate Special Days
Decide how to handle leap years or additional days.
Some systems add a "Year Day" after December, which is outside the regular week structure.
Sample Layout (simplified):
Month Name Days 1-28
Dawn 1-28
Blossom 1-28
Sunfire 1-28
Harvest 1-28
Frost 1-28
Rainfall 1-28
Growth 1-28
Light 1-28
Shadow 1-28
Ember 1-28
Zephyr 1-28
Aurora 1-28
Year-End 1-5 (or 6)
Note: The last "month" could be a special holiday or festival period.
