Stewart's bevel or splade piling a new invention

Piles are drilled vertically into the ground and the weight sits on these piles and the building has sure footings and will not move. surface tension or friction hold the piles from moving plus the sub ground hardness..
Bevel or splade piling is sinking the holes or piles at a thirty degree angle or more from the vertical going away from the center of the building. These piles do not need to be as deep as they support the building on the sides of the piles and also the ends,  Much the same way as snow shoes support a man in snow vertical piles would be like walking with out the snow shoes and one would sink to the hard ground beneath. If one were to remove a model of the piles vertically then twice the amount of soil would have to be removed with twice the effort.. These are great for flood prone areas for housing and for clay and reactive soils.
Houses that weight in at less than say fifty tons the splade piles would have only be about 2 meters long and not going to bedrock and have a diameter of say 300mm. using the same number as normal piles. The savings in concrete time and labor would be substantial. In high loading areas then bedrock anchors would also have to be used as is already done.Reprinted from http://shantyhut.blogspot.com.au/

To whom it may concern,

In Australia a psychiatrist only prescribes drugs as shock therapy .It is rarely employed effective in application.

As an Australian I appreciate that specialist surgeons are entitled to more of the public purse because they perform delicate operations with many years of training but I think it worthwhile to question the direction of public money towards psychiatrists. Psychiatrists do several more years training after failing as doctors at university.

There is no saying that mental health is not an issue that needs attention but a centrelink recipient should not be paid the same as a public servant.

Likewise a psychiatrist is not on the same level as a Surgeon and should not be paid as such.

Why are they getting paid as specialists when they only perform the role of a GP?

Installing new programs

Before you install or download programs check that there is no little box with a tick in it that you did not put there. This is the fine print and tactics that insurance companies use to not pay claims on a smaller scale. This might save you heaps of wasted time..

Trailer living

Whilst on the road you meet many people from many places then comes a story of interest. This bloke turns up with this amazing motor home with all the bells and whistles if you get the drift. Not only that he brags about how much he paid for it $250,000. This goes on for some time and finally the mate cracks. That's a lot of money. Yes it is he said a small fortune he says to emphasize the money spent. The topic is followed for some time and I was wondering when the crunch line was going to come and it did. Finally my mate says that's a huge amount of money just to be called Trailer trash.

The coal face

I hear television reporters politicians speaking of working at the coal face. I have never heard so much phucken bulshit come from a distorted and lying breed.
It actually offends me as I once worked at the coal face and was buried  to my chest in a coal mine under the underground storage bins.
I had no one to help me and had to dig myself out.
When some one talks about working at the coal face in comparison to working in an office they are phucken lairs and it is offensive.

The collapse of the world banks

Will this make any difference to the majority of people probably not. Will they take your Mac Mansion probably. Will they be any richer for the experience probably not. Makes the small house movement look good with no debt or mortgage. The danger is they at the bottom (the rich one's) will not have control of the masses. If you can eat and sleep you will live threw it. Remember it is us the workers whom make the fuel so the rich (those at the bottom) can play.

 This is in the kitchen under the new roof  put up by the local plumber Tom Wells.

 This shows the separation of the western wall from the house.

 This shows the house has moved about an inch from the foundation or conversely the foundations have moved from the house.

 The door in the bathroom this section of the house is new.

 Subsidence and reactive soils have moved the concrete on the rear verandah. The piece is about a 1/4 of a ton.

 Moisture on the floor in the eastern bedroom shows mold and mildew, the carpet to the left is saturated with water.

 The stain are from mold on the ply covering.

 Mold is every where.

Areas that need attention are:-
 1 Bathroom  Shower recess has spongy floor

 2 The kitchen The floor here has mushroomed

3 Western bedroom Concrete damage to concrete floor under carpet (large crack)

4 Eastern bedroom The eastern wall needs to be stabilized
5 lounge room The floor has mushroomed
The hot water heater needs to be replaced as it went under water in the flood covering the electrical equipment.
All areas need mold removed and painted.
Internal walls need to be removed and replaced and the frames need to be steam cleaned.


Areas of foundation movement are
Bathrooms on the east and west sides

 kitchen floor
 lounge east mainly chimney and west wall

Back verandah piece broken away causing a trip hazard

Southern wall of west bedroom
East bedroom west wall and east wall
West bedroom south wall, west wall.
 Lounge room west and east walls

Drainage concerns
The ground has a natural grade of 1:3 approximately and the water freely drains away, there is clay and alluvial soils which dried out over a long time due to drought and cracking occurred. The foundations are made of steel brick and packed with fibro. Concrete is used as well as wooden supports.


Renovations and maintenance

The house was renovated in period of drought with new wall cladding new bathroom.
 A new roof placed on the rear of the property(north side) by Tommy Wells the local plumber.
The house was electrically rewired with the latest in earth leakage equipment. There was a steel support placed under the floor in the kitchen in this time as well


Work done since the flood  
Cleaning of sheds and the removal of the tenants goods that were left behind when they fled the flood.
This totaled four days or Forty hours work
Grass cutting has been done to reduce the water in the ground.
Some of the carpets have been removed.
Some cleaning of the interior
Truck was used as well



In conclusion
Due to the long dry period the ground cracked and opened up. There was one crack that went down 18 feet the length of a steel pipe and this didn't touch the bottom. Two and a half tones of blue metal was poured into the crack and was not able to feel the bottom of the crack.
When the flood came the cracks closed up and things were well for twelve months and a second flood saturated the ground again.
During both floods the river changed position and removed huge amounts of vegetation.
The concrete foundation on the west side has twisted away from the house floor joists expanded and the floor mushroomed.

Scope of works
The best way to fix all the problems would be to raise the house This would remove any concerns of drainage problems and renew all the foundations This would allow the walls to settle back into there correct place. the floors would need to be straightened. New chimneys would have to be made and the house would have to be dried out and interior cladding removed and or replaced and painted. The studs would have to be steam cleaned to remove mold as after seventy two hours the water is considered to be black water.

The roof would have to be removed and sarking place all over and the roof refitted. All work would have to be done to Australian standards as stated by the NRMA's engineer.

The other option would be to renew the house.

Thieves caught with new tracking devices

Last week My sons house was broken into.  But there was a twist to the break in, he is a policeman. Not just an ordinary copper one whom has great skills with computers, You see his electric stuff has tracking devices connected to it. When unplugged from the power source it enables the tracking device when the power is reinstated the device is switched on, delivering the criminals directly to the police. These devices are set on a delay of up to a month or more and do not and can not be detected with other equipment.  The first tracking device to switch on was a cheap electric drill.  This was the first time this equipment was tried in real world scenario and passed with flying colours.

4 corners diver death ABC tv

Many years ago I was employed as a diver on board a boat called the Kennedy off McKay in Queensland. The pay cuts were used even back then I was from Wollongong and had to travel at my expense. The price was reduced as we were leaving the dock. I arrived in Queensland with a weight of 11.5 stone and a month later I was 9.5 stone.  We worked up to sixteen hours a day seven days a week, I was working in up to 30 feet of water ascending every hour to load the Trocus shell on the boat. I got the bends and two weeks later was placed in a decompression chamber in the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney. On one occasion a tender boat never returned back to the Kennedy and was left in the open sea overnight. I was the only one who wanted to set up a search and rescue and was talked down. The tender returned in the early hours of the morning. Production was placed first over anything else.
When diving in Port Kembla at the multi purpose berth, The air bottle on my back for emergency was empty and I nearly drowned.
The diving industry needs to have a good look at themselves as more deaths will occur.  Dive master overseeing the jobs and the attendants need to be trained and on watch at all times a diver is in the water. On large scale operations like what was on four corners tonight should have a attendant for each diver and when the diver reached the surface the boat should have stopped. This not stopping the operation is a criminal act as all the divers would have realized something was wrong when the propeller of the ship stopped. This would have allowed all the divers to become rescue divers with the saving of a life. Drift diving is the boat moving with the current not being pulled at two kilometers an hour or more threw the water. This is not dangerous it is insane.

Education and its failing.

If you had to learn everything first-hand, you’d die stupid.
You pick up second-hand information from the printed page.
If you can’t learn, you might check to see if you feel you already “know it all.”
To study, the materials so one can pass an exam, Then one won’t be able to do anything with the subject once the exam is over.
The valid reason to study is to be able to understand and apply what is learned. 
To act as though the data had no value to you; and, with no intention to use the data, then this is a waste of time and resources!
An engineer gets his degree in engineering and never has intention to use the subject, The degree is a status symbol.
If you find a student who is afraid to get involved. He becomes a spectator and not a student.
Lack any of these three.
1.lack of application.
2. lack of data.
3.No execution of ideas.
Then there is no ability to do.
The above explains why one could study what one is interested in and have a good life.

Spiders in flight

I have only seen spiders in flight twice in my life. The conditions have to be exactly right. These little spiders float on the air on a string of spider silk that is so light they float for hundreds of yards. Here in Australia gazillions move from one tree to another. The ones I have seen the spiders are about a millimeter in diameter. I think they are moving to new homes and spreading the gene pool by doing so. The silk threads are so fine that they cannot be photographed, This is an amazing time in the bush.

If you live in Australia

If you have children under 18 years of age and these children have been diagnosed with ADHD and are on drugs prescribed by a psychiatrist then you have a case to sue the psychiatrist. The law states that children under eighteen years of age are not to be given psychotic drugs, you also may be breaking the law giving the drug to a child. Psychotic drugs do not work and do damage to a growing child's brain. It is about time that these people are taken to task for there illegal activities.
The trouble is lay people do not know the law and there rights. If you need more information please feel free to ask me and I will pursue this further.

Sugar and chocolate

Last Christmas I visited friends in the back blocks of Tasmania. I took along some chocolates and lollies for the children. Now these children are home schooled and eat the best home grown and farm fresh meats and fish as a normal diet. These children are extremely fit and well adjusted and happy with no television. The lollies and chocolate was distributed to the children as a surprise. The little girl was asked what she wanted for Christmas and the reply was nothing, I have everything. This was a unusual answer as my own children would have rattled off a list as long as ones arm. The chocolate was devoured and the transformation was complete. Running fighting and climbing trees like a monkey total bedlam. The mother looked at me and I at her we were dumbfound by the results instant ADHD was the result. Yes Sugar and chocolate was the cause of this abnormal behavior. These children were normally polite and placid caring children the type you saw on "The Walton's"
If you are having trouble with your children's behavior just remove the sugar from there diet and they will be happier.

Psycotic drugs cause 20% of road crashes

A study of the road statistics shows that 20%of road crashes are caused by psychotic medication and this figure is on the rise.
The number of people diagnosed with mental disorders is also on the rise at the same proportional  rate as fatalities on the road. Shootings are in the same category as more and more people are placed on these drugs so the shooting rampages increase.
Personally I have witnessed the driving behavior of a person on these medications. It is about time that driving licensees be taken from people whom are on prescribed psychotic medications. There will be growing litigation against psychiatrists who allow people to drive and do not tell the roads authorities this is going to be a fact in the coming years.
I personally have tried Prozac with the effects of hallucinating and the drug Zyprexa which puts one to sleep for up to sixteen hours straight. How can one drive a vehicle with these drugs in ones system and the doctors forceably prescribe these drugs with an injection and allow the patient to drive.

Generous politicians

How generous are our politicians giving away millions of dollars each month to overseas countries.
Then I watch YouTube and the amount of money spent to kill a terrorist with an explosion costing thousands.
 Money is no problem to these people. Then there is the delivery systems costing many more millions of dollars. Lets be more humane and just chemically poison them with drugs as they are all mentally ill.
If the psychiatrists diagnose them all with the DSM version V as being mentally ill then they could treat whole countries at once and stupefy them into submission saving massive amounts of deaths due to friendly fire.and the like.
Every one would be happy as there would be no bad images to show on the nightly news that would have to be justified, and the polies would just have to line there own pockets....Every one would be happy. lardy dar lardy dar lardy dar...........We are so happy on our drugs!

Some thing I know lets just Add Money

I read every day that the financial system is in serious trouble. We are all going to have to tighten our belts and it is going to hurt.
These are facts.
One fact that is not spoken about is where has all the money gone?
Here is an insight.
CEO of a company gets 14 million salary and the company lost 40% of its income.
Australia borrows say 1 million dollars a day.
Australia gives Calathumpians 20 million aid over the next ten years.
Look I'm not any Einstein but one must know that this is unsustainable and the end of greed and free handout is going to stop. Very abruptly.
 Let me say to you if your country is importing food then your country is over populated and must reduce the population to survive....
Saying that one does not want to be the one who has to go.
To stop polluting the solution is to stop breeding.
Its that simple

They lost Pam

My wife was removed from my house and put into hospital some weeks ago. Three days ago I rang the hospital and she wasn't there. Asking where she was they didn't know. They had lost Pam.
They got her back, how do I know three days later but they didn't inform me. I think they are trying to make my new stomach ulster explode. 

Insurance claim

Because my house was built outside Australian standards it appears that I am not insured. The standards came out in the 1990s so anything before this date is uninsurable. Yes they will take the premiums and then default on the claim. This is typical with all insurance companies with there weaving and twisting when it comes to paying out money.
They engaged an engineer to do a report and they will say anything to stop a claim. They are paid for a result as long as it was for the insurance company.
Things said by there engineer were down right lies. The back of the house moved during the flood but the front of the house didn't get wet so to speak! The sewage is below ground level and this didn't get inundated but the floor 300mm higher got wet. Then he said the house was recently renovated, the cladding is all twisted and bent but this was from normal movement of the ground.
Things such as asbestos and lead based paints don't get an airing and are perceived to be a big problem in other circumstances but not in a insurance claim.
I will name the insurance company in a following post as I have to try to get compensated  and naming now would place my claim more at risk.
I also figure that if things are to be done to Australian standards then so must the work done.
