Lightening Ridge and the trip there.

 Inside the camp huts.

The above shosws an eagle on the prowl wing span is about eight feet.
Lawyer bush grabs the tea towel and won't let it go, If forced it 's barbs break off and this is the way the seeds are spread. Why the name lawyer bush? Get divorsed and see how they grab your money.

The photo above and below show the band aid bush the sap is great for skin cuts and rashes and the like. They are a parasite plant and will live on anything organic.

 Amego's castle

Below is the astronomers hut. He was working on propane gas fitting and garden hose when it blew him into the stratosphere

 Blues dog
Blue's place I don't know why they call him bluey his dog is a red not a blue and his hair is black and his ute is white!

The above shows the camp where we stayed.
The above and the next photos show a storm that lasted five minutes dumping 2" water into the tanks.
High winds just before the rain. Flying debris would take your head off . I was behind one of the sheds when it hit.
 Then the rain.
The bush to the left is a leopard bush.
Note the water on the ground.
The storm passes. I don't know what the brown spot is on the right of the photo,it didn't show up on the next one or the previous one...

The next three photos show the sunset after the storm.

The above shows burn off below is the same in time lapse held in hand.

 Hope you enjoyed Iggle....

Flight

Pelican in flight taking off.

Being atacked by a galah

Being out in the outback some things go astray in nature for some reason. This phucken great big galah attacked me. My mate snapped this shot I got away with out a scratch. Look at that wingspan must be about six feet. Must be us humans calling an idiot a galah and this bustard wanted revenge.

Trailer living

Whilst on the road you meet many people from many places then comes a story of interest. This bloke turns up with this amazing motor home with all the bells and whistles if you get the drift. Not only that he brags about how much he paid for it $250,000. This goes on for some time and finally the mate cracks. That's a lot of money. Yes it is he said a small fortune he says to emphasize the money spent. The topic is followed for some time and I was wondering when the crunch line was going to come and it did. Finally my mate says that's a huge amount of money just to be called Trailer trash.

Service fees

Electricity companies have service fees for having the wires to ones house The sewage company have a service fee for the sewer down the road and a service fee to connect to it. Council have service fees . Government have service fees. actually who doesn't have a service fee?
Then I hear two farmers talking about servicing fees for a bull. I asked what a service fee was for and was told it was for the bull having its way with a cow if you get the drift.
Now I know what service fees do.
 Phuck me.

qanda hits low

Insurance claim continued

They settled the claim! Yep thats right but there was no money sent out. This was told to me by customer relations by one Sally T and confirmed by Deborah C.  I was then put on hold whilst they set up recording and finally was given to Vivian. A new claim was started and the event day was changed from 5 March to the 6 march as the computer would not accept two claims on the same day so we start all over again. This leaves the fact that a claim can not be settled unless the excess has been paid according to the companies liturature which I re-read. So the second claim was based on them lying to me. Now I am assuming that if you make false claims then the policy is void.  I will keep you informed. Cheers Iggle

Expert witness

Things that you have to do as an expert
1/State facts as they are not by the one who pays for your services.
2/ Do not be too technical but state facts
3/ do not use generalizations.
4/do not make statements that are untrue and mix with truths as this is unethical.
5/do not be emotional or get involved..
6/ say it as it is.
7/when you are wrong admit it.
8/examine the material with dexterity for falsities

Doing what I do best

Being raped by an insurance claim

There is a mystery? Here are the figures
1/ $8,152.05 First offer
2/ $8152.05 -$300 excess=$7852.05+$1200 for lost rent= $10,052.05+ $5000 for cleaning and washing of walls=15,052.05 second offer on the 10 July
3/ Settlement offer on the 30 July$12,640.85

Lets put those figures all together in a list.
  8,152.05
15,052.05
12,640.85
Now them being so clever all I want to know is where and how they came to such an accurate figure ending in 5 cents and they get the big numbers so out of wack?
Insurance companies a mystery of life.
