strawler --drug sub
Today the cabin roof was welded on lots more to do. The shape of the cabin from the top is airfoil in shape so when it is powering to windward it will generate a small amount of lift.

strawler
More work has taken place and there is a monstrous amount of room in the cabin. Weight is not an issue as the total weight is about 1 hundred kg. maybe it might be stealthy cause of its shape. The photos speak for them selves.

How to make a drug sub
Just started on the conversion of my trailer sailor to a trawler. The photo above shows the start. Flat bar was welded together to make a foundation for the cabin and screwed to the boat.

train bike
My son wanted to have a bike to take on the trains in Sydney. It had to be small and light enough to carry up three flights of stairs. This is what I came up with. The wheels are 16 inch but smaller ones would suffice. The smaller bikes tend to be front end light when you make this conversion and can throw you off the back when you apply pressure of an adult to the pedals. The photo below shows the result.
Sudden infant death syndrome (causes)
Whirlpool have declined to help me and I have decided to keep the washing machine and use it for all future attacks on domestic machines that do not provide for good returns. I would be wrong to palm the stinking thing off on some poor unsuspecting individual. That is why I sleep well at night. This is the type of machine (in the photo above) that causes the problem of unclean bed linen and is the most likely cause of sudden infant death syndrome. Sudden infant death syndrome is most likely an allergy to dirt and dust mites in dirty the bed linen...as the young child's immune system is under developed it has not got the strength to fight ...even though the parents wash and clean to the best of there ability with there faulty engineered washing machines.

makin money
So you want to make money! Best get some rubbish and turn it into cash. How you might ask? Ive been thinking about one of the most disgusting bits of rubbish you can think of. Shitty disposable nappies. Lets look at what you can do with them. There good qualities Shit and piss, makes good fertilizer. Then there is the nappier itself made to absorb water lots of water a built in dam. Fertilizer and water under the ground plants will love them as a starter pack. They are to be had for free by the thousands.
You can buy at the nurseries fertilizer by the bag and nitrogen by the bag and its expensive. Then you can buy water absorbant pads to put in pot plants to keep them moist and these are expensive and it is the same stuff in nappies to absorb the urine. Now if some enterprising chap or lass were to put the two together he would be on a winner. So there it is for free.

industrial chemist
I spoke to an industrial chemist about these washing machine and how they dump there dirt on the clothes. He said that the problem is more serious than I have stated that is health wise. He also said that I have been understating the problem and there is no doubt that I am right in my assumptions. Pathogens build up over time and these are very serious to human health. Allergens and toxins are taken into the respiratory system from breathing the dust from bed linen and are causes of asthma and allergies. I feel that a full investigation should be made into these types of machines and the problems they cause. Sudden infant death syndrome could also be another problem associated with these machines. In the mean time I would suggest the the manufactures of these do there own tests and prepare them selves for a law suit.

Whirlpool washing machine
I gets me money back from the previous washing machine and bought a new one. Big mistake made this time, a Whirlpool and walla after two months it dumps the chit build up in the machine on me clothes. You cant clean behind the inner bowl as there is no way to get in there! Now these people are good to me they will give me a front loader that is valued in the shop I bought it from $300 less than the top loader, and I have to give them fifty phucken dollars to boot. This is a good deal and I have to sign my life away as well.
I finally worked out what is wrong.
In Australia we wash clothes and hang them on a clothes line in the back yard and dry in the sun with the benefit of being cleaned further with the sun.
Now this is not the case in other countries they put the wet clothes in a drier and tumble the clothes and the lint and dust is removed there. Now I don't have a drier to tumble the clothes and remove the dust and lint, with the added cost of electricity as well. Some would say I'm a cheapskate, now if this were true I would have bought a much cheaper washing machine. I want the best for my dollars spent so I buys the best that me money can buy.
I was resigning myself to the fact that I had been had, and was going to forget about the problem and put up with the dirty clothes. Until me wash today. This is how me clothes look in the photo and it really pissed me off. It didn't really piss me off so to speak. I was irate and if that sheila that I was dealing with from the washing machine company was here I would have smacked her right in the phucken chopper cause that's how I felt. Now don't get me wrong I'm a peaceable bloke and would never hit a woman. But exceptions can be made. Now women understand these things and blokes fix problems. If she wants to work in a blokes environment she must accept these things and fix problems of her companies makings. Not stand over people with genuine concerns with contracts with a take it or leave it attitude cause I now understands these things. Cause she will meet some like me who will not take it and leave it. This next photo shows the washing machine that I an concerned about. Further posts will be written as things develop.

First moon landing
I have always wondered how they photographed the spaceship traveling towards the moon landing. Who was operating the camera? Where was the camera mounted to take such pictures? Was it really a scam? Just wondering....
- No Plans for return trips
- Images show that Stars were missing from the black lunar sky
- Absence of engine noise in official NASA footage - how was it possible to clearly hear the voices of the Astronauts?
- No Blast Crater under the LEM after the powerful engines had been fired
- Astronauts Footprints - How was it possible for footprints to be left undisturbed and without dust
- American Flag was waving - how is this possible when there is no air on the moon
- Grainy, Unclear images although technology at the time could have produced much clearer images
- Shadows - The only source of light on the moon was the Sun but shadows were cast in multiple directions
- Lighting - Images of Astronauts were brightly lighted although their positions would have clearly been in shadow. Some images indicate that the Astronauts appeared to be in spotlight
- The Van Allen Radiation Belt - Could the Astronauts survive travelling through the deadly radiation belt which is situated 500 miles above the earth and is 1000's of miles thick with only the protection from their space suits and the thin covering of the space ship when it is estimated that 6 feet of lead would be necessary would have been needed. None of the Astronauts have since showed any signs of radiation poisoning
- No other manned mission has gone through the Belt
- Silencing - It seems unreasonable that information would not have been leaked about any such hoax - theorists therefore believe that key witnesses, including members of the Astronaut Corps, were deliberately silenced. Between 1964 and 1967 10 astronauts died in accidents - 15% of the total astronauts at that time.

The problem with all non filtered and Whirlpool washing machines of this type
The problem with all top loader washing machines is that with out a filter the dirt builds up between the inner and outer bowls this photo shows the outside of the inner bowl this has been left out in the weather for a while and is cleaner than one in service. You can see in the photo that some of the bowl has been cleaned for comparison
This next photo shows the inside of the outer bowl of the same machine again the dirt has been wiped away to show the comparison and the amount of dirt build up. If a filter is used then the build up of solids is less and it will not break away in a wash cycle and cover the clothes with dirt. This is the problem and the manufactures know this. What they rely on is the drier to remove the dirt from the dry clothes. This also is the reason for allergy reactions to increase in the population as a whole. That is dust and pollen allergies.
Anyone who makes money from these machines or sells these machines is leaving themselves open to a class action law suit. That is why Whirlpool wanted me to sign a waver. I will not and I will be here if some lawyer needs a professional to testify in court as to the function of these machines.
This examination was taken at my own expense so as to let the public know the problem.

ant- catipiller
Back in the 1980s I was helping a preschool by repairing tricycles that were averaging about 2000 kilometers a week. This was worked out by measuring the length of the track and the time it took to go round it once this was multiplied by the number of minutes and hours per day they were used and the number five for the days of the week. I arranged for a Caterpillar to be made and it was there for years and the kids loved it. It was then removed and taken away and cut in half and became an ant. The ladder used to go over and come back to the same position as the ants tail it had twelve legs. It was removed from its new location as an ant and was never seen again. Until today when I saw it on a web site, I emailed the owner of the site and was told it was probably the one I had made. One of the colour schemes was with the eyes painted red with black pupils and red veins in the whites it looked drunk. The body was always yellow with black legs. So here it is thanks to the apprentice boilermakers at the Wollongong Technical College for making it.Thanks to the unknown photographer for the image.
Jockey wheel
I went to the rubbish tip and found part of a jockey wheel set up and it cost $2 and was fixed up with an old wheel that I had. This was welded on to the boat trailer making it easier to move around.

power tools
Power tools are easier used when the leads are cut short, You don't have to bend down to find the two ends and plug them together. If you really want to speed things up a hook can be placed in a convenient place for the extension lead end to fit into. Manufactures could make the fittings directly into the tool and do away with the lead altogether. All tools would benefit from this especially saws as the lead would not catch half way through cutting the bottom of a door lets say. I use yellow leads so they can be seen which is different from the power tool leads which are black or gray.

Whirlpool Washing machines
So I bought a new Whirlpool washing machine again! This one is worse than the other one. I puts me clothes in and out they comes with chit all over them. It takes about two months for the stuff to build up in the back of the machine and then it dumps it all over your clothes Then they say its been good for two months well maybe. If I examines the chit its got a build up of all the stuff that has gone in there and if you are washing nappies then there is shit. Given time the microbes multiply and you gets ecol i forming. Sounds gross it is, cause it goes onto your sheets and pillow slips and now you start sneezing. Ever wondered why.
Lets start with what a washing machine is to do:- wash clothes and sheets etc. Do the same for years. Filter the large pieces out so there is no buildup in the machine.
How do you test if it is doing so. Two ways, one put the clothes in the drier and see how much lint is in the drier filter. Two if you don't have a drier then hang them on the line and give them a bash and watch for the dust. If there is dust then your machine is a chitter. If there is lint in your drier filter or dust in the air then your washing machine is doing a chit arse job.
You and your family will get sick Asama, allergies etc. It is given that you will without a doubt in time get sick from your washing machine......That's a promise and I seldom use the word Promise. As for the new machine I am going to get my money back again And then I will let you know how it happens.
Around 85% of children with allergic asthma, and about 10% of the population, are sensitive to house dust mites, which are unfortunately found in every home, no matter how clean. What is less known is that it is actually the house dust mite protein (DER p1) found in their minute droppings and decomposing body parts, which cause respiratory allergic reactions. An allergy to house dust mites can also be linked to atopic eczema.[3]
Unfortunately, they breed in our favorite place - the bed. They live in mattresses, pillows and duvets, where there is an abundance of food (our skin flakes) and high humidity (our sweat). The average bed can easily have over 10,000 dust mites living in it, and over two million droppings.
And here are some more horrible facts:
-- There are 1,000 dust mites per teaspoon (1 gram) of house dust
-- Their numbers have increased dramatically in the past 20 to 30 years, because of increasingly closed and warmer homes
-- They are so light and tiny that they float easily into the air when disturbed by our daily activities. Inhaling these minute particles causes allergic reactions in those who are sensitive to the protein

Oil spill
1/ The riser from the oil well is to be cut off by any means possible leaving an open pipe.
2/ A plug is to be made in copper with a wall thickness of about 20 thou wall thickness with hydraulic hoses attached. Multiple "O" ring seals are to be placed on the outside diameter so when the plug is inflated with about 6,000 hydraulic pressure will make a seal on the well riser pipe This plug is to have a steel pipe through the centre with a valve on the end that protrudes from the hole.
3/ The pressure should be enough to distort the riser pipe stopping the plug from being expelled when the plug valve is shut.
4/ The well hole above the plug can then be grouted with pollyisocinate
Simple yes but putting it into practice no as I understand the problems of working in extremely difficult circumstances using robotic equipment under water.
So there it is free of charge for the oil barons to make them selves look good.

The fun stuff starts
I have decided to concentrate my efforts on the sail boat that I bought The trailer mud guards are on and welded up. I have decided to put a cabin on the boat and remove the mast and power with a small kite.So thats the way I am heading and will post as I go. The cabin is to be made from alloy and bolted on. I will start with a Jig made from steel and this will give me an idea as to how it will look when finished. I have marked out the place where I want the cabin to sit and as luck will have it the surfaces are all flat and straight so no bending and forming is required...

Oil spill
I am saddened by the oil spill in the gulf. It will take over 100 years to clean up.The people responsible that is the CEO,s Have to be held accountable. There should have be a system developed at the same time as deep water drilling was developed to contend with potential problems.
With any system as complicated as a drilling platform these things will happen. It will be up to the small people to ban together and fund a legal challenge against the perpetrators of this crime. Because it is a crime. Otherwise they will get off scott free and will laugh all the way to the bank. It has happened before in the gulf and will happen again. If they need someone who can stop the oil leak they may call on me by putting a comment in the comment section and I will reply. It is a simple job in adverse conditions, Granted.
I did work in strata control and work as a commercial diver and engineer as a matter of interest.

The passing of a legend
My Old mate Donny the race horse owner Died on Sunday he didn't want to go. He was the one featured in a previous post about recycling. He will be sorely missed by the nurses at Gundagai hospital for his humor in his last days. Donny worked on many things during his wonderful life and the only thing that bothered him was his arm and even then he never complained, which went into a peach canning machine. Which smashed his arm in many places leaving it with a permanent bend which was noticeable if it was pointed out. His only big winner in the racing game was Sanjapaddy. Donny was a big winner in the game of life. He was the last person to get kicked out and barred from the Hume hotel before it closed for of all things, Fighting at the age of seventy. One occasion saw one of his work mates get injured and Donny bought his kids presents for Christmas. Spending his entire pay he lived on home grown potatoes and trapped rabbits for the next two weeks. Donny never married that I know of but could have many times over. I was in Tumut and we got hungry and we both had little money, and we were both hungry we fronted up to the country woman's association meeting hall under Donny's initiative. Well the biggest feed was rustled up in minutes by the old ladies who swooned over Donny. Then there was the time Donny and I got into the bin behind Woolworth's to get groceries out of the bin. This was in the days before they put the out of date meat into sausages. There was every type of food available but with out of date stickers on it. Don't happen any more they were the days.....bye Donny

Gundagai is in a prime spot to generate electricity from the river using multiple propeller type turbines placed in the river flow. Power 24/7
About time
Two rural doctors from the iconic Australian town of Gundagai today announced plans to tackle climate change from the ground up...literally.
Drs Paul Mara and Virginia Wrice-who have been doctors in Gundagai for nearly three decades-have committed to planting 5000 trees a year indefinitely and achieving a carbon neutral surgery by the end of 2012.
"It is clear that everyone has a role to play in meeting the challenge of climate change" said Dr Mara, who is also Vice President of the Rural Doctors Association of Australia.
"Leaving this important issue to politicians and bureaucrats alone is no longer an option.
"There is no doubt in our minds about the science of climate change and the potential adverse effects this will have not just on the wellbeing of the planet but on individual health too.
"Trees will be planted locally from local seed and ultimately a private fund will be established to continue this work."
The Gundagai Medical Centre is a fully integrated and modern health centre with a focus on providing a range of medical and allied health services. It is also a teaching practice for medical students, prevocational hospital-based residents and rural registrars.
In more than 27 years of living and working in Gundagai, Drs Mara and Wrice have provided full support for the local hospital including inpatient and emergency care after-hours.
"We love living and working in the country, and this is a small way we can give back to the bush and the community" Dr Mara said. "It complements other initiatives in the local area such as the development of a wind farm and the use of recycled water for the local golf course."

Warrants
The police are overwhelmed with trying to get criminals who don't pay there fines for various offenses some of them serious. Most of these criminals are on benefits of some sort paid by the tax payer. What would stop this waste of time and resources would be if the Police could notify the social security and a stop payment was ordered. Then the criminal would have to get a docket signed at the police station to get back on the system. Hey no looking for them they would come in on there own account. Money time and resources saved simple. Wont happen too simple for the simpletons in charge.

Computer tracking chip
The government is to introduce rfid chip to be placed under the skin of criminals and other persons of interest. Is nothing sacred will they also be able to introduce chemicals on demand with the chip? Is this another way of introducing the national identity chip, probably. All thanks to the baby faced assassin and the labour party.
cats and flees
Cats carry flees around the neighbourhood at night and drop them where ever they go. Little lizards kill flees thats what they eat. Flees ticks and lice are good food for lizards.
Cats kill lizards as natural prey they are good at it.
Kill the cats that roam of a night and you kill the flees. Make shore you have lizards though and protect them with homes of there own they also eat cockroaches and the like....

I have removed one of my posts because of the rabbit proof firewall, It contained a child with no cloths on eating from a bowl of porrage and his private part hanging into the bowl. It was a joke about recycling, not so funny haaa....$11,000 per day in fines and I was not prepared for that and removed it as a precaution...

gravetrons
Gravetrons are seen in the reflextion in a mirror and are lost in the mirror that us not seen, that is in the missing parts of the reflexion that is outside the mirror. Its like the scrolling of the screen of a computer where does the image go that moves from the screen. thats where the gravetrons go but they are not lost they are still there. Move the mirror and you see them again, same goes for the computer screen. the image is still there. Break the mirror and you expand the universe because of the multiple images same applies for the gravetrons.......Simple if you understand it. Sorry for the quantumn thoughts......some times the people working on these things don't see for the looking.......

why so many power companies
Here in Australia they have all these new power companies to create competition for your dollar. Why? Its so the politions can give there mates jobs, and the only way to create them is to devide up a perfectly good system and have Ceos. at the head of each new company. Now the prices are going up 60% wonder why? You have to pay all them phucken bustards thats why!!!!!
Copied from only solar.com.au I am Abandoining the site and my son is taking it over
green sustainable cheep electricity and lights
This is my old mate Donny the owner of the famous race horse Sanjapaddy, the sun was shining and we went to the rubbish tip and Donny said you could furnish a house from here . So I thought it could be done so went about it because Donny got a bit giddy so I got a chair for him to sit on, He said carpet would be good and the carpet was found and another chair for me. He said the cricket was on and he said a bit of telly might go good and a table and TV were found as well, A wind break was fashioned and a smoke detector was placed in the tree above him pots and pans and there it is home sweet home. Then this lady came to the tip and was asking Donny what he was doing and he said waiting for the cricket to come on! Pity we didn't have electricity but if I looked hard enough I would have found that too....cheers Stewart

lies taken from a web site on solar energy
wow using energy when power is turned off? don't believe everything that is spruked off about in the media and the Internet....this is how it read
"unplug devices that are always using electricity, such as cell phone chargers or computers. A startling fact is that on average, 75% of electricity consumed by home appliances is when they are turned off."
This was written by a person who says you can make your own solar panels for one hundred dollars.
There is a lot of work assembling a panel and if one connection brakes the panel wont work.
Do you have the equipment to work out where the brake is?
Started small an got bigger with the things Ive done over many years .
I myself would not entertain building a grid interactive solar system as the problems can be immense. By all means have a go at making a panel...make a smaller panel first to charge batteries or light an area at night , and with experience you learn, you can go on to bigger things . My blogspot started small and grew slowly so did the things we made. cheers Stewart

For more information you can also contact our national information line on 1800 808 571.What is the role of the installer?
To be eligible for the rebate, a hot water system must be installed by a licensed electrician or plumber as required under standard regulations. The licensed installer must sign your application form verifying that:- The system is a new and complete hot water system that replaces an existing electric storage hot water system previously operational at the dwelling.
- The system is eligible for at least 20 RECs at the time and place of installation.
- Installers are also required to provide other technical and installation details including the tank number of the new system and the installation date. Installers are aware of the process and have easy access to the information.
We recommend you seek around three quotes to ensure you are getting the best value for your system.
Information for installers
Licensed plumbers and electricians have an important role in the rebate application process. Installers need to complete and sign part of their customer’s application form at the time the system is installed. Completing these parts of the application form is straightforward and only takes a few minutes. The information provided by installers is used by the Australian Government to verify certain eligibility requirements for the rebate.Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
Under the Australian Government's Renewable Energy Target (RET) - a scheme set up under Commonwealth law to promote the development of renewable energy - new solar and heat pump hot water heaters may be eligible to create Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Households can create and trade these certificates on their own, but it is more common for Registered Agents to create and trade RECs on behalf of households. The RECs benefit for consumers usually comes as a point of sale discount. Most retailers will advise potential buyers how many RECs are provided by each solar or heat pump hot water system model and how much each of those RECs are worth at today's prices (the price of RECs vary according to market forces). The retailers then provide a discount to the buyer, meaning the cost of the hot water system to the householder is reduced..Hot water system retailers can also advise you on the number of RECs assigned to a system.
More information about RECs is available on the Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator website:

power
I want people to think about the cost of power to your house. Now ask yourself this question, can I produce it cheaper myself? My last bill was for $195 for three months thats about $2 per day. Now I cannot produce the power for that, but I do produce some of it being hot water. If the price went to $10 per day I would concider cogeneration on a small scale, Cogeneration is simply taking the heat and electricity produced and using it all. The system is simply a generator and water cooling the engine. Now if I were traveling in a car and caravan or a motor home I would look at heating the water from the exhaust pipe for showers and washing. This is free energy that is produced and is not being used. cheers Stewart

solar who pays
Solar energy is produced by the suns action on a panel producing electricity or heat for hot water or air.
Notice that on you energy bill that hot water and heating is the largest component so this is where you get the best value for dollar spent on solar.
Light is about 10% of the bill, refrigeration is another 10% so if your bill is $100 then the light and refrigeration component is about $10 each.Heating is the remainder 80% or $80.
One solar panel for electricity with one battery operating only lights will save you $10 off the bill.
One panel and battery and lights on a stand alone system would cost you about $1000.
This being the case it will take you 100 bills to pay you back or four bills per year times the years 25 . 1000 divided x 10 = 100 divided x 4 = 25 years.
So this is not a good return for your money.
On the other hand solar hot water is different that is $ 80 x 4 bills = $320 / years x 10 years = $ 3200 which is the cost of a solar hot water system.
This is not taking into account the government rebates which is the similar for both electric generation and hot water.
If I were spending your money I would go for hot water followed by insulation of your home first in that order...cheers Stewart

power
I think this is a little doozy.
standby dos'nt use much power
standby dos'nt use much power
Even when turned off, appliances can still draw power. New Zealanders use more electricity keeping products on standby than we do actually using them.
wind power and hydro power

Little generator little power little money little trouble, big generator big every thing else.
Our water generator (hydro electric) was 7.5 kilowatts three phase using a cross flow turbine, 12 inches wide 14inch diameter running at 200rpm, driving a generator at 1500 rpm, and a head of water of 4 metres and a water flow of 3,000 gallons / minute. this might sound complicated and to the untrained it is.If you have any questions I will try to answer them here. cheers Stewart

solar energy who pays
I am one for sustainability and green things.
Be warned you set up a solar array guaranteed for twenty years you get a pittance in return for your out lay.
In twenty years the thing breaks down no warranty, say it draws from the grid and your bills go up.
Now who pays not the electric company you do...don't believe me then. What about the new car you bought with 3 years ago out of warranty and it broke down and you needed a new computer chip , a thousand you say as you part with your money...
Say an array cost you 10,000 and you save say 300 dollars a year on your bills. what is the interest on the 10,000 over a year at 5% is about $500 at the end of twenty years you probably have trebled your money and the warranty hasn't run out...this is just food for thought.
Solar hot water and space heating are different.I have solar hot water on my roof and am looking at heating the house as well. Cheers Stewart

generate your own power
If you use a generator to do the washing it would cost about say 2 dollars and if you captured the heat for water it just might be economical instead of the grid power. Its getting close. If you get a generator from Strath Steam in South Australia and burn your junk mail and twigs from the local park and your tree wind fall in your yard it would be cheaper than the grid. Other places of fire wood is pallets and off cuts from saw mills.Try your council tip and take all there timber at a fixed price. You could run the generator from the humane waste if you put in a digestor, these are similar to a septic tank and the fuel is waste product which is also a greenhouse gas.Check it out for your self...

TV comparison: LED v LCD v Plasma TVs
I did some comparisons of TVs and how much they cost to run and it looks like the most economical to run don't necessarily are not the cheapest to own and use in the long run as seen by this table below. Notice the price of electricity at 19cents/kilowatt.
Now if we increase the price of electricty to 38 cents, (as these 'motivated groups' have been telling us Bustards), then the cost to run changes slightly.
You be the judge.

Electricity prices
I will have to rethink the production of electricity in the home as prices are to rise 60%. I think that small generation and power storage might be the way to go. The way to do this is to have a stand alone system to power lights and use LEDS light emitting diodes instead of globes all running on twelve volts and the mains power as backup source this would save 10% of your light bill which is about twenty dollars a bill. the system would cost about $50 per light and switches say $10 each and batteries $200 each panels $800 each total 7 lightsx 50 = 350 + pannel 800 + switches 70 +wire 50 + batteries 200 = $1500 At this rate it would take 7.5 years to pay back. Without rebate not quite there yet. I will evaluate it again in the future..cheers Stewart

Led lighting
I think the only way to use led lights inside the home is to run them from a battery at twelve volts and charge the battery with a solar panel.Or use garden lights and put them out during the day to charge. The savings is only about 10% of you bill but as we have just seen the price of electricity is to rise 60%. It is probably worth looking into,Bunnings have some ball shaped lights that can be hung and are ten dollars each they give good light for there size..cheers Stewart
